Please note that MainStage has decided to limit the number of registrations due to the seriousness of their approach and to maintain the highest quality production possible. Registration will be closed upon reaching that threshold. Do not delay.

What To Prepare

  • PREPARE: 30-60 seconds of a musical song of YOUR choice. Bring in a physical copy of marked sheet music.

    • A Capella singing and tracks are allowed, if only option. Please note, if track, you will be singing off your phone. 

  • There will be a cold reading of a monologue at the audition. 

  • After registration, the participant will receive an email with an enrollment form to complete.

    • Form will ask for ALL CONFLICTS in order to create a Master Schedule for the rehearsal of this particular show.​

Production Details

  • I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE will be a no-cut show.  Everyone who registers and auditions will be part of the cast.  Limited numbers, this show is presented in a series of vignettes.

  • Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:00-9:00pm at Cass Jr. High School, Concord Elementary, or Hinsdale South High School.

    • Rehearsal Dates: Jan 16, Jan 17, Jan 23, Jan 24, Jan 30, Jan 31, Feb 6, Feb 7, Feb 13, Feb 14, Feb 20, Feb 21, Feb 27, and Feb 28.

    • NOTE: You will fill out a conflict sheet at registration and we will have call times for each of your rehearsals.  We will work around any and all conflicts. Cast will not be required at every rehearsal until tech week.

  • Rehearsals begin Tuesday, January 16th

  • There will be additional appointments for hair, make-up, and costuming. 

  • Tech Rehearsal will begin daily starting Sunday, March 3rd at Hinsdale South High School. Dress Rehearsals will be March 4th - March 7th.

  • Performance will be March 8 at 7pm, March 9 at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm, and March 10 at 1pm and 5pm. 

  • Performances will be at the Hinsdale South High School.

    • 7401 South Clarendon Hills Road, Darien, IL

  • Tuition will be $400

    • Includes: weekly rehearsals/classes, tech rehearsals, performances, highly skilled directors, a commemorative show shirt, and free access to show photos.​

    • NO costume fee required for this show.
